What

Cyberoam Version X

This two day instructor led training course introduces students to the new Cyberoam Version X operating System in order to implement and deploy the next generation of Cyberoam UTM firewalls. The emphasis will be on configuring firewall rules, IDP policies, anti-virus & anti-spam policies, access policies, manage & filter internet traffic, internet access rules, creating management reports and troubleshooting.

You will be introduced to all the new features from Version X including:

  • Next generation GUI built on the new Cyberoam OS
  • Integrated Cyberoam iView for extensive, subscription-free, user-based reporting
  • Built-in Instant Messaging logging and control
  • Wi-Fi/3G/WiMAX support via USB dongle
  • Enhanced SSL VPN
  • IPv6 Ready - IPv6 compliance will soon be mandatory in government & other enterprises
  • The only UTM which has user based controls for thin-clients
  • Extensible Architecture


Who Should Attend?

Technical staff tasked with the support, installation, deployment or administration of Cyberoam solutions, including but not limited to System Administrators, Network Administrators, Firewall Administrators, Network Security staff, Network Engineers, Presales Engineers, System Engineers, Reseller Support Teams and Installation Engineers.


Pre-requisites

Delegates should have a basic knowledge of networking concepts, including network topologies, networking infrastructure and application protocols such as HTTP, FTP, POP3, and SMTP.

It is recommended that delegates are familiar with TCP/IP, network addressing, subnet masks and Network Address Translation (NAT). Understanding of Virtual Private Network (VPN) concepts and IPSec functionality would be a great advantage.
