NComputing release new vSpace desktop virtualisation software

 NComputing now have three new vSpace releases available for customers to download. The first two are new vSpace 6 releases for their direct connect access devices (X350/X550 and U170) and the third is a maintenance release to vSpace 4 for the Ethernet connected L-series devices including the new L300.
vSpace 6 for X- and U-series: The new vSpace 6 desktop virtualisation software is NComputing’s first to provide a Windows 7 end-user experience running on 64-bit Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 or Microsoft Windows MultiPoint Server 2010. Customers can download this new software today: - vSpace 6.2.1 (64-bit) for X350 and X550
- vSpace 6.4.1 (64-bit) for U170
vSpace 4 Maintenance Release for L-series (version 4.9.2): This maintenance release adds significant performance enhancements and features for the L300 including: - Acceleration of a wider variety of web-based video including Flash in IE and Firefox
- Support for video acceleration through most media players (not just Windows Media Player) with a wide variety of codec’s
- Much more efficient use of CPU resources
- Unified release supporting mixed environments of older L-series (L130/L230…) and L300
These new versions are all available to download from the NComputing Software Download Centre. Please be sure to review the Product Release Notes that are included with each download.
