e92plus have further strengthened their cybersecurity portfolio and data security offering with the signing of Netwrix, making their solutions available to the e92plus partner community. Netwrix protects over 13,500 organizations worldwide, strengthening their security and compliance posture across all three primary attack vectors: data, identity and infrastructure, and provides solutions that addresses all five NIST functions.
Netwrix’s 2023 Hybrid Security Trends Report highlighted not just the continual increase in cyberattacks and the subsequent costs incurred (over $50,000 for 16% of organisations, and over two thirds of organisations suffering an attack (1)) but also the increasing focus on managing privileged access to sensitive data. Implementing a PAM (Privileged Access Management) solution was ranked as the number one security measure that IT professionals would enhance if they had the opportunity.
Account compromise attacks in the cloud have more than doubled in the past two years, and the risk associated with an organization’s own employees was the top data security concern, cited by 58% of respondents. This highlights a huge opportunity for the channel to help customers evolve their cybersecurity strategy to address these trends, and ensuring employees have the right access – and those credentials are secured – as well as investing in perimeter defences.

This partnership gives access to the Netwrix solutions for both VARs and MSPs. Supply chain attacks surpassed the number of malware-based attacks by 40% in 2022 (3), and MSPs are a prime target with their connections to multiple customer networks and enhanced privileged access to them.
